Books by Paul Tempan

Born and schooled in England, Paul Tempan has lived in Ireland since 1990.

Paul Studied Irish Studies, undertaking a part-time Masters at QUB (2001-04).  He later worked as a Research Assistant at the Northern Ireland Place-Name Project on a project providing Irish forms of street-names.  From 2007 to 2011 he undertook doctoral research with funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

Paul Tempan is a  Research Fellow working part-time at the Northern Ireland Place-Name Project, maintaining and editing the online database.
