Visit the members’ area on ancestryireland.com to obtain the latest Guild coupon code. Enter this code on the checkout page to get 15% off all books published by the Ulster Historical Foundation. This code will be changed every 30 days.
Which books do Guild members receive a discount on?
All books published solely by the Ulster Historical Foundation will be discounted.
Is the site safe for credit card transactions?
Both Google Checkout and Paypal use secure, encrypted credit card shopping facilities. During and after the checkout process your credit card details are encrypted, once you reach the screen where you enter your details you are on Paypal/Google Checkout’s secure server, after your order is placed your credit card details are then encrypted again to prevent anyone accessing them.
Note: we cannot accept liability in this respect.
Do I need an account with Google/Paypal to pay for my order?
Only Google Checkout requires an account in order to make a payment. Paypal will let you make a payment without creating an account.
I don’t have a credit card/I don’t want to put credit card information on the site. Can I pay by other means?
Yes. We can accept personal cheques in any currency. Proceed to the checkout stage to work out the total cost, including postage and packing, print the page and forward it to us along with payment.
We can also accept international money orders and postal orders in GBP (£) sterling.
Who do I make cheques payable to?
Please make the cheques payable to Ulster Historical Foundation and send to Book Orders, 49 Malone Road, Belfast, BT9 6RY, Northern Ireland.
Which countries can you ship to?
We ship to almost anywhere in the world. If your country is not in the list of countries on the checkout page, get in touch with us and we’ll see what we can do.
How is shipping calculated?
UK: £3.20 for the first item + £1.75 for each subsequent item. Rest of World: £5.15 for the first item + £3.00 for each subsequent item. Republic of Ireland: £4.00 for the first item + £2.25 for each subsequent item. Western Europe: £4.15 for the first item + £1.65 for each subsequent item.
Any book over 1kg will be charged at cost price. The final amount to be charged will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
How much is that in dollars or another currency?
For your convenience a currency converter has been provided to allow you to convert from £ sterling into most major currencies.
How long does it take?
We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 2-3 working days, although it may take 5 working days to dispatch items that are out of stock. Delivery times will vary depending upon where you are in the world and what type of shipping you have opted for.
Our returns policy
If the return is due to an error on our part we will gladly refund the original purchase price and any return postage costs incurred.
How do I return an item?
All returns should be securely wrapped and returned along with the original wrapping to our current address. Please enclose a note stating the reason for the return and correspondence address if different from delivery address.
